Overview
The Integrated Nanostructured Systems strategic strength welcomes opportunities for outreach and collaborations in various interdisciplinary research fields relating to spintronics, nanoelectronics, nanomedicine, sensors and biomedical applications of nanotechnology and energy production, storage and interconversion.
Examples of outreach activities include, but are not limited to:
- Faculty or graduate student presentations to K-12 school groups, community college groups, or other community organizations
- Summer and academic-year research opportunities for undergraduates and high-school students
- Graduate student internships in appropriate industrial or government research laboratories
- Access to University at Buffalo research facilities on a collaborative or fee-for-service basis
- Consulting and contract research
